Pastel bushfire sunsets ✨ .

In light of our recent bushfires I have two questions for you: Do you have a fire escape plan? Do you have your important photos backed up on the cloud?

It has been a scary time for many of us in Northern NSW. First we had our iconic @figtreerestaurant burn down! 2 x of my brides having too scramble to relocate within days. The amazing @byronbayweddings team working 24/7 to ensure all their couples are looked after - very intense in the middle of peak season! .
.

I then had a couple from 3.5yrs old contact me (I captured their wedding while pregnant with Isabella). Their house burnt down and they lost everything 😫
.
.
100+ fires, lives lost, many humans and animals injured, homes destroyed! .
.
Every morning we wake up to ash covered lawns and the thick smell of smoke. My girls come home from school with black snots 👀 .
.
My amazing team who live south of Byron are threatened daily... with no end in sight until it rains! WHEN? .
.
Spring wedding season has been amazing with no rain. Normally it rains most days. It doesn’t ‘set in’. Quick thunderstorms or showers and it goes out too sea. Nothing that ever really impacts... we wait until it passes, grab a clear umbrella and capture those AH-mazing coloured skies and a rainbow if we are lucky 🥰 It keeps everything green and lush! .

Rain is a part of life on the East Coast.... no rain is unheard of! Please do a rain dance for us ✨ Donate if you can.
